 Kendra holds a Bachelors of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, and has been the Development Manager for Deacon Development Group since its formation. From 1996 through 2004, Kendra worked as a project manager for The Beck Group, a construction, design and real estate firm based in Dallas, TX, where she worked on several different project types including light industrial, retail, hospitality, assembly and education.
She moved to Portland in 2005 to join the S.D. Deacon team as a construction project manager. As Deacon Development Group became a formal entity, she transitioned from construction management to development management. With experience in both design and construction, Kendra provides design perspective and management for the group’s projects. Her participation and expertise allows Deacon Development Group to provide conceptual design during the feasibility analysis, space planning for tenants, and deliver the best designed product for a project’s parameters. Kendra also manages the entitlement process, develops pro formas and oversees the design consultants on many projects.
